  • Profile Picture: 170x170 pixels on desktop, 128x128 pixels on smartphones

  • Cover Photo: 820x312 pixels on desktop, 640x360 pixels on smartphones

  • Shared Images: 1200x630 pixels

  • Shared Videos: 1280x720 pixels

  • Video Posts and Ads: 1280x720 pixels

Twitter

  • Profile Picture: 400x400 pixels

  • Header Photo: 1500x500 pixels

  • In-Stream Photos: 1600x900 pixels (recommended), with a minimum of 600x335 pixels

  • Video Posts: 1280x720 pixels (landscape), 720x1280 pixels (portrait)

Instagram

  • Profile Picture: 110x110 pixels

  • Square Images: 1080x1080 pixels

  • Landscape Images: 1080x566 pixels

  • Portrait Images: 1080x1350 pixels

  • Stories: 1080x1920 pixels

LinkedIn

  • Profile Picture: 400x400 pixels (recommended)

  • Cover Photo: 1584x396 pixels

  • Shared Images: 1104x736 pixels

  • Video Posts: 256x144 (minimum) to 4096x2304 pixels (maximum)

YouTube

  • Channel Profile Image: 800x800 pixels

  • Channel Cover Photo: 2048x1152 pixels

  • Video Uploads: 1280x720 pixels (minimum for HD)

Character Counts

Facebook

  • Post: Up to 63,206 characters

  • Comment: Up to 8,000 characters

Twitter

  • Tweet: Up to 280 characters

Instagram

  • Caption: Up to 2,200 characters, but after 125 characters, text is truncated in users' feeds

  • Bio: Up to 150 characters

LinkedIn

  • Post: Up to 1,300 characters for a personal account, 700 for a company post

  • Article: Up to 110,000 characters

YouTube

  • Video Description: Up to 5,000 characters

  • Comments: Up to 1,000 characters
